" It’s that time again: radio plays can now be submitted for the 16th Berlin Radio Play Festival (19 to 21 September 2025 at the Academy of Arts, Berlin). Radio plays, documentaries, sound art, podcasts and mixed forms are possible for the following categories:

• The long burning microphone (pieces up to 60 minutes long)
• The short burning microphone (pieces up to 20 minutes long)
• The glowing button microphone (pieces up to 5 minutes long)"

“The festival of the free audio play”

May 21st - May 24th, each day from 7PM to 11 PM [Berlin time, GMT+2]

On Sunday 24 they play non-german speaking pieces from 60 seconds to 60 minutes (“The Burning Mic”), narrative, documentary and sound-artistic forms.
